DNA paternity testing can be performed at any age and a child can be safely tested at any age after birth.

Prenatal test kits are sent by priority overnight FedEx and normally reach your within 24-48 hours of being picked up from our office. It is required to purchase at least one of these express shipments with any prenatal test. All other test kits are free of charge and are sent by regular mail. Transit time for post varies depending on how far you are located from our office. Mail normally reaches our clients within Canada in 3-5 business days while mail to anywhere in the US can take up to 2 weeks.

Test results can be sent via mail, email, fax and/or over the phone. You can select your preferred method on the submission form provided in your sample collection kit.

Our tests all differ in terms of how results are concluded on each report. Prenatal gender tests involve detection of the Ychromosome and will be reported as either Negative or Positive in terms of its detection. Our prenatal paternity tests will present the data in a table and will include the SNP markers tested and nucleotides (letters) given by each individual. These tests are concluded by exclusion only. Our complimentary follow-up tests are reported just as a regular paternity or relationship test, as the same markers are tested. These reports will display 16 STR markers represented by numeric values for the individuals tested and are concluded by exclusion but also include a combined relatedness index and percent probability of the relationship. Forensic and infidelity tests will present a table with similar markers represented by numeric values but will be concluded uniquely based on the evidence derived.

Different forensic samples do not affect the accuracy of the result; however, each sample may vary in the terms of the success rate of DNA extraction (see table)

Absolutely. Ensuring that your information is kept safe is of the utmost importance to us. Our staff will not release any information regarding your case without prior consent. We will also follow any special communication requests you make.

In addition, we offer the option to protect your test with a password. Only those who have the password will be able to access your test information.

If you choose to have your blood sample collected at a laboratory other than ours, we require a $100.00 (US) deposit for prenatal gender tests or a $200.00 (US) deposit for prenatal paternity tests. This deposit enables us to initiate the testing process. Upon completion of the blood sample collection, you will fill out a submission form that indicates your payment options. The balance of your testing fee can be paid via Visa, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal. 

Sample collection kits are sent by regular post so transit times vary. Generally, post reaches a location within Canada within 1 week while post to the US may take up to 2 weeks. Samples may also be returned by mail, as a return envelope will be provided (must acquire postage) and the samples are not time-sensitive but you may return samples however you wish. 

Prenatal gender test results will be available within five business days of receiving your blood sample. Prenatal paternity test results will be available around eight business days after we have received your samples. We offer expedited services on both the prenatal paternity and gender test. For an additional fee of $100 (US) we can provide the prenatal paternity test in 5 business days and gender results in 2 business days or less.
